Ricky Burns fight not a done deal, claims Vazquez

Miguel Vazquez has claimed that his proposed fight with Ricky Burns is not a done deal.

Speaking at the weekend through an interpreter in this video clip courtesy of Elie Seckbach, Vazquez claims that the match is not yet "concrete...but if they [the promoters] come to an agreement there's probably going to be a fight."
A unification match between WBO lightweight champion Burns and IBF boss Vazquez is being advertised as headlining a bill three weeks on Saturday [March 16th] at Wembley Arena.
Vazquez spoke very respectfully of Burns but, predictably, backed himself to win a contest between the pair, should it take place.

Eric Armit's Snips and Snipes - April 17, 2014

The live gate for Pacquiao vs. Bradley II came to almost $8 million, so with Pacquiao guaranteed $20 million and Bradley $6 million it gives a picture of just how much money TV puts into the pot. I am surprised there is not a market in 'idols of the gods of TV' as there's a lot of big time fighters who should be worshipping at the entertainment temple that makes them so rich.
