Vitali Klitschko agrees to fight Haye (according to Haye)

Update: Former WBA Champion David Haye has confirmed to BoxRec News that Vitali Klitschko has agreed to fight him.
Haye, who doesn't currently hold a BBBoC licence and goes under the twitter moniker of @mrdavidhaye, tweeted: "Vitali has just finally agreed to fight me in a live RTL interview!!! He told me I will be his next fight!! Let's Get Ready To Rumble!!!"
However, according to Sky's Adam Smith, Klitschko's representatives (presumably platinum blonde Bernard Boente) have denied it, but after Wladimir's four round blow out of  Jean Marc Mormeck tonight, Vitali said to Smith in the ring: "I would be happy to fight David Haye, and knock him  out."
Haye believes he will have more success against the aging Ukrainian champion than Dereck Chisora did. Straight after the infamous fracas at the post fight press conference two weeks ago, bookies actually had Chisora as the favourite to fight Haye, but that died down after the severity of the incident became apparent.
Since then, it has become apparent that Vitali Klitscko appreciated Hayes' endeavour in the press conference, shaking his hand and congratulating him on his performance.
If it happens, the fight will probably take place in Germany, and could be Vitali's swansong. We await further details.

Features

Crolla V Murray

A lot of people consider the lightweight bout taking place in Manchester this weekend between Anthony Crolla (27-4-1) and John Murray (32-2) to be a very close call indeed. The contest, in UK's second biggest city on Easter Weekend, is for the WBO lightweight Inter-continental title, but the significance of the result means more than the marginal title as it will put them a step closer to a world title fight. Even if this isn't immediately forthcoming, the division is stacked in Britain, and can throw up some massive domestic scraps.

Scott Quigg

Bury's Scott Quigg retained his WBA world super bantamweight title at the Phones 4 U Arena with a second round stoppage of South African Tshifhiwa Munyai, and now looks towards unification fights with Leo Santa Cruz, Kiko Martinez and, hopefully at some point, Carl Frampton.
