Second championship clash added to Coldwell's 'Undefeated' card

Terry Carruthers v Kevin McCauleyA battle of the tough guys sees Birmingham's Terry Carruthers face Halesowen's Kevin McCauley for the vacant British Masters middleweight title on Friday 6th March.

The Coldwell Boxing show at New Bingley Hall, Birmingham, is headlined by a battle of the undefeated - Nasser Al-Harbi (13-0) and Jamie Ball (13-0-1) face off in an eliminator for the English light-middleweight title.

Carruthers (9-11-6) and McCauley (10-32-3) earn their money the hard way by taking on hot prospects often at just a few hours’ notice. They give everyone they fight a hard night’s work, and pull off the occasional upset.

Last March, Carruthers handed Liverpool's Steve Harkin (5-3-2) his first defeat, and held Liam 'Beefy' Smith (8-0-1) to a draw.

In October 2010, McCauley, from Halesowen, outpointed Dave Ryan (12-5) for the Midlands Area welterweight title in front of Ryan’s Derby fans, and last November came back from Glasgow with the British Masters light-middleweight championship having out-slugged local ticket-seller Craig Windsor Jr (7-2) over 10 rounds.

Promoter Dave Coldwell has put together what promises to be an action-packed show with Peter 'The Banbury Bull' Vaughan (4-1-1) boxing on the undercard. Vaughan, rated the most exciting fighter in Britain by veteran fight manager Jim Evans, reached the semi finals of last year’s light-middleweight Prizefighter.

Welterweight Callum Cooper (2-0) and middleweight Craig Cunningham (1-0) also feature on the bill.
