Infected Bute aims to put best foot forward

A few rumours have been doing the rounds that Carl Froch's fight against Lucian Bute could be in danger because of some kind of injury to Romania's IBF super-middleweight champion.

Bute's promoters, Interbox, have tried to clear up the speculation with the following statement: "Lucian Bute has been bothered by an infection in his foot since last Saturday. However, the condition is improving and InterBox and Lucian Bute are confident that Lucian will be able to fight according to schedule.
"A specialist/doctor has prescribed antibiotics to Lucian Bute to treat the infection. He will meet with doctors again later this week to ensure that the foot is healing according to schedule."

Eric Armit's Snips and Snipes - April 17, 2014

The live gate for Pacquiao vs. Bradley II came to almost $8 million, so with Pacquiao guaranteed $20 million and Bradley $6 million it gives a picture of just how much money TV puts into the pot. I am surprised there is not a market in 'idols of the gods of TV' as there's a lot of big time fighters who should be worshipping at the entertainment temple that makes them so rich.
