Extra tickets released for McAllister's Euro tilt
Aberdeen boxing fans were today given an opportunity to buy the last tickets for Lee McAllister's 'sold out' challenge for the European title fight on Saturday 25th February.
Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre agreed to promoter Tommy Gilmour's request to increase hall capacity for the event.
Gilmour said, “The response to this show is amazing and I am grateful to the AECC for allowing me to put in another 100 seats.”
The Championship bill will also feature Scottish prospects Gary “The Highlander” Cornish, Andrew “Nessie” Young, Matthew McAllister and Darren Traynor as well as North East of England brothers Travis and Jon Lewis Dickinson.
The show has certainly caught the imagination of the Granite City fans and it is hoped that the home support will give Lee the edge to conquer Denis “Djingis Khan” Shafikov the Russian champion.
