Rogan and Skelton to meet again on November 12 in Belfast

Former British and EBU heavyweight champion Matt Skelton (25-6) is lined up for a rematch against Prizefighter winner and former Commonwealth belt holder Martin Rogan (14-2). The pair will clash at Belfast's Kings Hall on November 12.

They last fought in 2009 when Irishman 'Rogie', 40, stopped 'The Bedford Bear' Skelton, now 44, in the 11th round to take Skelton's Commonwealth belt. Three months later, he suffered the first of two consecutive losses to Sam Sexton, and will have fought just seven rounds in two years by the time he faces Skelton in November.

Rogan had wanted to take on Panama's Lewis Andreas Pineda on 27 October for the lightly-regarded WBU version, but the BBBoC blocked the contest.

Skelton, now 44, hasn't fought since losing the in the Prizefighter final to Michael Sprott 12 months ago. The former kickboxer received a five month jail sentence in December last year for perverting the course of justice, after being found guilty of falsely nominating two men as the drivers of a vehicle registered to himself in relation to six speeding offences between 2006-2009.
