Price out of clash with McDermott

BoxRec News understands that Olympic medallist and heavyweight prospect David Price has had to withdraw from his scheduled match with John McDermott.

It is thought a rib injury will prevent the likeable Liverpudlian from taking part in the 19th November bout.

It was due to take place on a Frank Maloney card at Price's home city venue of Olympia.
