Premier Sports TV to show Wembley bill plus Witter's fight from Canada
Hennessy Sports and Premier Sports TV proudly present a night of championship boxing live and exclusive from both sides of the Atlantic on Saturday 19th February. All of the action can be seen live and exclusive on Sky Channel 433.
First up from Wembley Arena, John O’Donnell and Craig Watson will battle it out in the eagerly awaited rematch, this time for the British welterweight title.
Then 'Lightning' Lenny Daws defends his British light-welterweight title for the third time against challenger Ashley Theophane in an attempt to secure the Lonsdale belt outright.
Also live from Wembley Arena we have 'Totemic' Tyson Fury back in action.
And as if this isn’t enough for fight fans, Premier Sports will be showing live action from the Hershey Centre in Mississauga, Canada, where former WBC light-welterweight champion, Junior “The Hitter” Witter, from Sheffield, is making his welterweight debut against Romanian-born Torontonian Victor Lupo. (This is a huge fight for Witter. Reports say Lupo is no mug and an ageing Junior has to shake off a lot of ring rust. If he comes through, he might get thrown back in at the top against Amir Khan. If he doesn't, the frustrating Sheffield trickster will miss out - again - Ed.)
NABA Lightweight champion Logan Cotton McGuinness will face the sternest test of his young career when he steps into the ring to defend his title against hard hitting Dominican Hector Julio Avila.
Premier Sports TV broadcast monthly boxing from around the globe for the great value price of just £6.99 per month.
