Pacquaio fancies Hatton rematch...at darts

Manny Pacquiao has taken one of the toughest test of his career so far...as the Chairman of the Philippines Dart Council. And the world's most famous boxer has let it be known he fancies returning to the oche against former foe, Ricky Hatton.

During the UK publicity tour for their May 2009 superfight - won in brutal fashion by Pacman - the Filipino darts fan took on the Hitman at the dartboard in a Manchester pub. Hatton won this showdown at least - but such is Manny competitive nature that he won't let it lie.

Boxing MC John McDonald - who also does the announcing honours at some high profile darts tournaments - is a friend of Pacquiao and said, "That's all Manny kept on about when I saw him - 'I want a rematch with Hatton!'"

Former darts pro and PDC (Professional Darts Corporation) Director Rod Harrington said, "It could take place at one of the big PDC shows, as both fighters love their darts so much.

"That would be every bit as big as Phil 'The Power' Taylor v Raymond van Barneveld!"

Pacquiao signed a promotional deal with UK darts firm Target earlier this year and he was presented with his own range of darts weeks before his last defence.
