Manny Pacquiao misses golden opportunity to become a hero in Britain

Manny Pacquiao missed out on an opportunity to become almost as popular in Britain as he is in his native Philippines when he refused to knock out fellow economic migrant Piers Morgan.

The pair shared a ring as part of a feature for the tabloid journalist and reality TV judge's CNN show 'Piers Morgan Tonight' - a title which should be enough in itself to ensure the programme is a ratings disaster.

Morgan's interview with Pacman will be shown Stateside on Friday, the day before Pacquiao engages in part three of his trilogy with Juan Manuel Marquez.

The fight, which will undoubtedly be far more interesting than the chat, can be seen live by UK viewers via Primetime.
