Hennessy moves Wembley date back a fortnight
Hennessy Sports have today announced that the card at Wembley Arena on Saturday 5th February which will see two prestigious British titles up for grabs has now been rescheduled for Saturday 19th February.
Tickets already purchased for the original date of Saturday 5th February will be valid for the rescheduled date of Saturday 19th February and no further action is required. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date and require a refund please return the ticket(s) to the point of sale.
The first of the double headers will see the UK’s number one British light-welterweight, Lightning Lenny Daws of Morden, defending his Lonsdale belt against highly world ranked American based Londoner Ashley "Treasure" Theophane.
The second title fight of the evening will see the eagerly awaited rematch between John O’Donnell of Shepherds Bush and Manchester’s Craig Watson. Both fighters last met in a thrilling contest for the Commonwealth title back in April 2009 in which O’Donnell on the night was awarded a close split decision and ripped the title from Watson’s waist.

To replace Darren Barker's spot on the bill, there is a special feature 10 round international heavyweight contest invloving Manchester’s unbeaten Tyson Fury. Tyson's opponent will be announced soon.
Joining these great fighters at Wembley will be Commonwealth title challenger Lee "Lights Out" Purdy, former Southern Area champion Kreshnik Qato and a host of talented young boxers including Haddenham’s Tornado Tyler Goodjohn, Islington’s John “the Gorilla” Ryder, Phill Fury of Lancaster and Chris “Flash” Evangelou of Enfield.
