Hamilton the Head ready to go

The weigh in for Spencer Fearon and Ciaran Baynes' Hard Knocks Boxing Promotions ‘This Is Hard Knocks’ event event at York Hall, Bethnal Green, on Friday 7th October 2011 and broadcast live on Premier Sports (Sky channel 433) took place today.

Darren Hamilton faces Dave Ryan for the British Masters light-welterweight title on a bill topped by Mongolian small hall legend, Choi.

The pair first met in June which saw a very rare first round disqualification, Hamilton being thrown out for use of his head. 

Darren Hamilton - 63.3kg (pictured above)  “I’m optimistic and happy that I’ve got the chance of the rematch. I’m ready to go.”

Dave Ryan - 63.4kg (pictured right)  “I see it all my way again. As long as he doesn’t headbutt me again, let’s have it.”
