Exclusive - Frankie Gavin v Jason Cook off

Saturday's Sky Sports headline bout at York Hall between Frankie Gavin and Jason Cook is off.

The BBBoC have judged that Cook was too heavy to safely make the arranged welterweight limit in time.

Gavin v Cook was already a replacement for Tony Bellew v Ovill McKenzie which was called off earlier this week, also revealed exclusively on BoxRec News.

The bill is now in complete disarray and unless something miraculous happens, it's difficult to see how Sky Sports can proceed with their scheduled coverage - a shame for all concerned.
