Prospect Jack Arnfield charged with drug dealing
Blackpool prospect Jack Arnfield (12-0) has been charged with drug dealing following a series of police raids in nearby Fylde.
20-year-old Arnfield and Scott Healey, also 20, appeared before Wyre Magistrates court on Saturday.
Arnfield is charged with conspiracy to supply class A and class B drugs, four counts of supplying cocaine, four counts of supplying a controlled drug class B and three counts of offering to supply a controlled drug class B.
Healey is charged with conspiracy to supply class A and class B drugs, 16 counts of offering to supply a controlled drug class B, three counts of offering to supply cocaine and possession with intent to supply class a drugs.
Both men were released on police bail and will appear before magistrates on June 10.
Arnfield - spoken of highly in boxing circles in terms of talent and personality - was due to box Jez Wilson for the Central Area title at Blackpool Tower on the same night he'd faced magistrates but withdrew earlier in the week citing a hand injury. As it happens the whole show, headlined by Brian Rose, was moved to Saturday 6th March anyway. Arnfield was not on the bill.
