Luis Garcia added to bumper Glasgow bill
Promoter Chris Gilmour today announced two further contests for his tournament at Scotstoun Sports Campus on Saturday 27th November 2010. Top Cuban light-heavyweight Luis Garcia who is undeafeated in 11 contests, 9 by KO, boxes WBO Inter-Continental champion Serhiy Demchenko who has won 13 of 16 with 10 KOs, in what could be an explosive encounter.
Gilmour says, “ This is the biggest contest I have featured on any of my promotions so far with two world prospects. These are they type of matches people like to see and is a great addition to the bill.”
Also featured is London prospect Chris “The Flash” Evangelou against tough Pole Arek Malek. Malek is well know in Scotland having boxed Barry Morrison and Lee McAllister. This is Evangelou;s first contest outside London and certainly his toughest so far. The two fights are in support of the British Masters light-middleweight championship between Paisely’s Kris Carlsaw and Leith-born Terry Carruthers.
Gilmour says, “This whole event is a treat for fight fans with nine bouts at prices of £30 and £40.”
