Ireland's amateurs host England team tonight

World Youth champion Ray Moylette will be just one of the stars in action when Ireland amateurs meet England amateurs at the Castlecourt Hotel in Westport, Co Mayo tonight.

Moylette's St Anne's team-mate Danny Coughlan will also be between the ropes for Wednesday's international, along with U/21 champion Chris Phelan and the Drimnagh BC pair of Jimmy Sweeney and Chris Turner.

Moylette, the current Irish light-welterweight senior champion, who claimed gold at the 2008 AIBA World Youth Championships in Mexico, will meet Robbie Davis of England in one of ten bouts on an very competitive looking St Anne's BC hosted show.

Cork's Rory O'Donoghue will also be between the ropes, along with Eamon Tighe, Brendan Fitzpatrick, Patrick Coyle and Thomas Rohan.

IABA Director of Boxing Dominic O'Rourke said they were looking forward to a very competitive night of boxing in the Yew County.

"There are some very exciting looking bouts lined up across the various weight categories and it promises to be a very competitive show at a top class venue," said O'Rourke.

Boxing begins at 8pm. Tickets will be available at the door.
