Groves show cancelled as opponent fails medical
Hayemaker Boxing regret to inform that this Saturday's (October 30) show at York Hall, Bethnal Green has been cancelled. Unfortunately, Commonwealth title challenger James Obede Toney failed a pre-fight medical and was deemed unfit to face champion George Groves in the show's main event contest.
As a result, the entire card has been pulled and Groves will now box two weeks later on November 13 in Manchester.
The Hammersmith fighter will appear as chief support to David Haye's WBA world heavyweight title showdown with Audley Harrison, in a bout televised live on Sky Box Office.
Hayemaker Boxing would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
