Earl's next opponent named

Graham Earl’s comeback opponent has been named today.  Luton's former British and Commonwealth lightweight champion will take on Kenyan Geoffrey Munika over eight rounds on 13th March in Milton Keynes.

The well travelled Munika (18-14-2) has been a professional since 1997 and had a busy 2008 sharing the ring with British fighters John Watson,  Ashley Theophane and Lee Purdy, losing against the first two and drawing with the latter.

After losses against Michael Katsidis, Amir Khan and Henry Castle, Graham is under no illusions that he needs to rebuild himself slowly.

Earl said, “If I cannot get a win here and make it a convincing victory then I will have to seriously consider hanging my gloves up.”

The fight, part of the first ever professional boxing event in Milton Keynes, takes place at the MK DONS football stadium.
