Eames takes charity roadshow to the airwaves

Boxing coach Johnny Eames, who along with his business partner Derek Grainger, is organising the Ultrachem TKO Gym Boxer & Celebrity Football Tournament, in aid of the Indee Rose Trust, at Brockwell Stadium, Canvey Island on Sunday 25th July, will be a guest on Steve Bunce’s BBC London Radio show (94.9 & DAB @ 9pm) this coming Thursday evening.

Eames said, “I’m really looking forward to going on the Steve Bunce show. Steve’s been a friend of mine since my amateur boxing days. I’ve known him around twenty five years I suppose. Always got on great guns with him. He’s a great boxing purist, knows everything there is to know about boxing. Steve has been totally behind us on this charity tootball tournament we’re doing. He’s been a great help, along with his friend Steve Lillis who wrote a great piece in the Star on the event. I’m really looking forward to going on his show to help promote what is going to be a fantastic day for the Indee Rose Trust.

"We’ve got Paul Smith and my old fighter Graham Earl, who are both taking part on Sunday, coming on the show as well to talk about the event and their reasons for taking part. It’s great that these two great fighters, and the many other stars taking part, have pledged there time to come down for this fantastic event to help raise funds for such a worthy cause that is the Indee Rose Trust.”

Smith and Earl are just two of a host of boxing, TV, film and music stars taking part in the tournament to raise funds for the Indee Rose Trust, which provide support to children recovering from brain and spinal tumors.
