Ben Carey joins the BoxRec News team

Experienced boxing writer Ben Carey has joined the BoxRec News team as Assistant Editor.

Ben has covered boxing for eight years and has interviewed some of Britain’s leading stars including Naseem Hamed, Ricky Hatton, Carl Froch and David Haye. He has gained a wealth of experience writing for a number of established websites and has been published in Boxing Monthly and the Sheffield Star.

Ben has also worked as a press officer for David Coldwell’s Koncrete Promotions and Fight Academy during the period in which they promoted Ricky Hatton.

His desire to remain impartial and tackle British boxing’s main discussion points makes him a key addition to the BoxRec News editorial team.
