Filipino southpaw Penalosa, 37, cut badly by head clashes in sixth round finishes strongly and looks unlucky. Split verdict, scores 116-112, 115-113, 113-115. Puerto Rican Morel, 34, is a former WBA fly champ whose career was interrupted by a jail term. Important victory for Concepcion who floors Puerto Rican southpaw Santana in sixth. Easy for WBA interim champ Revelco who forces Brazilian novice to take a standing count in first and finishes him with a body shot at the end of the fifth. Barros has problems with string bean southpaw from Brazil and looks crude. Low blows slow Brazilian down but he lasts the distance. Both fighters constantly slipping on ring surface. Amusing sight of the referee using broom and towel between rounds on ring surface - who said men can’t multi-task?
