43 lbs difference between Haye and Harrison

At the Lowry in Manchester this afternoon, WBA champion David Haye weighed in at 15st 1/2lb (210 1/2lbs) ; Audley Harrison weighed in at 18st 1 1/2lbs (253 1/2lbs).

"I'm really happy at that weight, the lightest I've ever been as a heavyweight," said Haye.

The pair did the routine stare down at which Harrison looked very confident.  The champion dismissed this, saying, "I saw a very nervous man. I could hear his heart beat.  I saw fear in his eyes."

Harrison said, "It's a good weight for me.  David coming in so light, I feel that's an advantage for me. A good big 'un beats a good little 'un.  David Haye is in for the fight of his life.  He's scared to lose so he's trained like a crazy man with posters of me all round his walls - that's why he's come in so light.

"If the fight goes to the late rounds, David Haye is in for a whole lot of trouble."

The pair square off tomorrow night for Haye's title at Manchester's MEN Arena.
