Drama at the weigh in - Froch 167.4 lbs and Dirrell 167.5 lbs at the second attempt

The weigh in for the Carl Froch v Andre Dirrell 'super six' fight was full of drama in the middle of Market Square (Nottingham) yesterday. 

Carl Froch comfortably made weight at the first attempt weighing in at 167.4 lbs whereas Andre Dirrel weighed in at 168.4 lbs on his first attempt, a whole pound heavier than Froch.  After a short visit to his hotel, Dirrell returned and on the second attempt weigh in at 167.5 lbs.  He lost almost a pound in approximately 30 minutes.

The main event will take place in the early hours (at 2am) to coincide with Showtime's schedule for the American television audience.
