Rubbish matches as Manfredo, a Joe Calzaghe victim in 2007, floors 35-year-old Warrior at the end of the first and veteran fails to come out for second. Warrior is 0-10 in last ten. Jamaican southpaw Thomas repeats November win over Greeley who has now lost 17 of his last 18.
Washington, USA: Light: Verquan Kimbrough (21-2-3) DREW 8 Dean White (15-10-2). Judah, out for exactly one year, has no problem with “opponent standard” Mexican as he floors him with body shot in first and stops him in second. Casamayor, out since September 2008, and now 38, looks very rusty as he outboxes novice Davis on scores of 79-73 on all cards. Dawson, who relinquished IBF title, wins WBC interim title and retains IBO title. Angulo floors Yorgey in second and twice in third for kayo to win WBC interim title. Abysmal refereeing as Yorgey allowed to take too much punishment and Yorgey’s people complain of punches landed whilst Yorgey was down and also hits behind head doing the damage.
