Light: Will Tomlinson (10-0-1) W KO 3 Verquan Kimbrough (21-3-3). Light Middle: Ryan Waters (18-2-2) DREW 6 Tui Leveni (9-2-1). Light Heavy: Rayco Saunders (17-12-2) W PTS 7 Walter Pupu’a (11-5). Green crushes Jones. After feeling out, the Aussie nails Jones with cracking right to the temple. Jones badly hurt and Green batters away until referee stops fight. Could and should be the end for one of the sports greats. Green retains IBO title, and now in demand, and could get shot at Bernard Hopkins. Southpaw Wills “The Surgeon” floors veteran Bennett in third and twice in fourth for IBO Asian Pacific title. Former Aussie super feather champ hurts Kimbrough in second and puts him out with left-right combo. A strong finish sees journeyman Saunders outpoint Tongan. Waters has to climb off the floor in the last round to get a draw with former national champion Leveni. For we Brits, Green actually lost to John Pearce in the 1998 Commonwealth Games at 75kg.

Philadelphia, USA: Light Heavy: Bernard Hopkins (50-5-1, 1 ND) W PTS 12 Enrique Ornelas (29-6). Light Welter: Danny Garcia (15-0) W KO 2 Enrique Colin (29-6-3). Light Welter: Karl Dargan (6-0) W PTS 6 Sam Santana (2-4-2). After slow start the crafty 44-year-old “Executioner” takes control from fifth round. Ornelas has a good ninth, but the rest go to Bernard who almost has the Mexican out in the last. Scores 120-109, 118-110 and 119-109. Local hope Garcia floors Mexican at end of first and one crushing right finishes it. This for WBC Youth even though Colin is 27. Former top amateur Dargan has little trouble with the Puerto Rican. Dargan beat Martin Stead and Nat Brough when representing the USA vs England.

Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand: Light Fly: Noknoi (26-4) W PTS 10 Donnie Mbbao (12-11-1). Fly: Ponsaklek (74-3-1) W PTS 6 Rodel Tejares (7-8-1). New York, USA: Light Welter: Tim Coleman (17-1-1) W PTS 12 Mike Arnaoutis (22-4-2). Heavy: Shannon Briggs W KO 1 Marcus McGee (22-18). Welter: Brad Solomom (9-0) W PTS 8 Ray Robinson (11-1). In a poor, dull fight, Coleman wins vacant USBA title on split verdict. Scores of 115-113 twice, 112-116. Coleman starts fast, but former WBO super feather champion Arnaoutis seems to establish a lead from round four and looks unlucky loser. Now 38, 272lbs former WBO champion Briggs, in first fight since June 2007, puts poor McGee, also 38, away with body shots .Solomon, reportedly three times National Golden Gloves champ, too strong for Robinson but has to settle for majority decision on scores of  79-73 twice 76-76 over unbeaten southpaw Robinson . Arnaoutis is Greek and as an amateur beat Anthony McPake in the 2001 Acropolis Cup.

Houston, USA: Light Middle: Juan Carlos Candelo (29-10-4) W TKO 8 Chase Shields (29-3-1). Candelo floored in third but takes over with sharp boxing and puts Shields down in seventh. Doctor does not let Shields out for eighth.

Nonthaburi, Thailand: Tabtimdaeng (32-1) W PTS 11 Jemmy Gobel (15-8-5, 1ND). Rubbish match as WBA No 3 Tabtimdaeng makes 18th defence of PABA title with win over poor Indonesian who has just one win in his last seven fights.

December 4

Light Welter: Daouda Sow (2-0) W TKO 3 Nourdine Boussekine (3-11-1). Moreno retains WBA title. Southpaw champion from Panama in control from the start against modest challenger. Has Patrac badly hurt in eighth and under pressure when referee stops it in eleventh. Olympic silver medallists Djelkir and Sow score stoppage wins. Patrac fought to a technical draw with Noel Wilders for the EBU title in Reading back in 2003.

Cruiser: Serdar Sahin (17-0) W pts 10 Varol Vekilogu (12-2-1). Big win for Kazak-born Gutknecht as he takes split verdict over former WBO champion Balzsay on scores of 116-112, 115-113 and 113-116. Hungarian Bedak marches on with kayo of Filipino. Sahin retains German title with wide unanimous points win.

Ponce, Puerto Rico: Bantam: Cesar Seda Jr (18-0) W TKO 2 Daniel Reyes (40-7-1)..Light Fly: Omer Soto (15-4-1) W PTS 8 John A Molina (28-11-3). Reyes washed up as Seda has too much speed and power and floors and halts 37-year-old former IBF strawweight champion. Soto speed helps him squeak past useful Colombian former WBO light fly challenger on majority verdict.

Santa Ynez, USA: Welter: Mike Anchondo (30-2) W PTS 8 Mauricio Herrera (13-1). Light Middle: Carson Jones (24-7-1) W TKO 3 Tyrone Brunson ( 21-1-1). Bantam: Chris Avalos (14-0) W TKO 2 Jose Pacheco (2-10-6).Light: Marvin Quintero (18-2) W TKO 2 Tyler Ziolkowski (12-10). Anchondo struggles against useful Herrera and gets controversial split win on scores of 77-75 twice and 73-79. Brunson bubble burst by unsung Jones has Brunson down and defenceless in fourth. Brunson won each of his first 19 inside a round against very poor opposition.

Miami, USA: Welter: Euri Gonzalez (20-1-1) W PTS 12 Cosme Rivera (31-14-2, 1ND). Big win for Gonzalez who has to survive bad last round to win on scores of 115-113 twice and 114-114 over former world welterweight title challenger.

Minneapolis, USA: Heavy: Raphael Butler (35-8, 2 ND) ND 1 Joey Abell (25-4, 2 ND). Light Heavy: Larry Sharpe (24-7) W TKO 1 Zach Walters (24-5, 2 ND).Confusion reigns. Abell floors and hurts Butler. Canadian Sharpe, a loser to both Scott Dann and Darren Barker, floors Walters twice for stoppage.

Managua, Nicaragua: Light Fly: Nerys Espinoza (26-5-1) W PTS 10 Carlos Campos 14-5). Super Feather: Santos Benavides (17-2-2) W TKO 4 Wilfredo Acuna (13-7). December 5

Atlantic City, USA: Middle: Paul Williams (38-1) W PTS 12 Sergio Martinez (44-2-2). Heavy: Chris Arreola (28-1) W TKO 4 Brian Minto (34-3). Heavy: Tony Thompson (33-2) W TKO 9 Chazz Witherspoon (26-2). Welter: Carlos Quintana (27-2) W TKO 3 Jesse Feliciano (15-8-3). Super Bantam: Jorge Diaz (11-0) W KO 1 Luis Paneto (5-7-2). In a non title match both Williams and Martinez hit the floor in the first, with Williams looking the more hurt. Martinez takes early rounds, but then Williams, cut over both eyes, uses height and reach give him lead which he just holds down the straight despite strong finish from Martinez to win a majority decision on scores of  115-113, 114-114 and a ridiculous 119-110! It was a case of volume from Williams and quality from Martinez. Arreola, a chubby 263lbs (45lbs more than Minto), floors gutsy Minto twice in fourth for stoppage. Arreola’s first fight since September loss to Vitali Klitschko. Thirty-eight-year-old southpaw Tony Thompson gets off to a good start, but sags in the middle. Comes back to outlast Witherspoon and floors and stops him in ninth. Former WBO welter champion Quintana (has a win and loss against Williams) climbs up from knockdown to stop Feliciano on cut. Diaz puts poor Paneto down with an uppercut and Paneto stays there.

Ludwigsburg, Germany: Cruiser: Marco Huck (27-1) W PTS 12 Ola Afolabi (14-2-3). Heavy : Alex Povetkin (18-0) W KO 3 Leo Nolan (27-2). Middle: Dominik Britsch (17-0) W TKO 5 Cleber Alves (7-3). Heavy Francesco Paneta (20-0-1) W PTS 8 Evgeny Orlov (10-6-1). Cruiser: Mike Simms (20-12-2) W PTS 8 Martin Kempf (12-2-1). Styles do not mix well as Huck too busy and aggressive for Afolabi and retains WBO title on scores of 115-113 (twice) and 116-112. Interim champion from Nigeria just too defensive to take title in Captain’s back yard. Povetkin, now trained by Teddy Atlas, finds mediocre 37-year-old Nolan easy and floors and halts him in third. Stocky Britsch retains IBF Youth title for second time as he breaks down Brazilian novice, floors him with a body punch and stops him. Italian Paneta wins every round against 6’9” Russian trial horse. After slow start Simms takes German prospect Kempf to school and wins close unanimous decision.

Nayarit, Mexico: Welter: Saul Alvarez (30-0-1) W PTS 12 Lanard Tyner (21-3). Super Fly: Jesus Jimenez (27-5) W KO 3 Roberto Lopez (28-20-1). “Canelo”, just 19 and rated No 2 by the WBC, wins by a mile on scores of 120-108, 119-110 twice and retains NABF title for fourth time, having Tyner almost out in last. Jimenez, WBC No 2 flyweight makes it 14 in a row, 13 by KO/TKO.

Montreal, Canada: Light Middle: Joachim Alcine (32-1) W PTS 12 Chris Canclaux (40-3). Cruiser: Troy Ross (23-1) W KO 1 Daniel Bispo (21-12). French former European champion Canclaux cuts up rough, is deducted a point in second and is lucky not to be disqualified. Once former WBA champion Alcine settles down he shows better skills and more power although one judge (a Frenchman) has it close at 115-113, the other two give to Alcine 117-110. Canclaux stopped Steve Conway in three rounds in 2007.Former undefeated Commonwealth champion Ross, who won the title by kayoing Buster Keeton in Montreal in 2007,  puts away poor Brazilian with body shots. Bispo has never lost in Brazil, and never won outside Brazil.

Bruay-la-Buissiere, France: Light: Guillaume Salingue (25-0) W PTS 10 Mihaita Mutu (26-15-2). Champion Salingue retains national title. Well in front and then cut in sixth, Salingue then counter punches aggressive Mutu rest of the way for clear win.

Abbeville, France: Heavy: Johann Duhaupas (21-1) W KO 1 Ramiro Reducindo (13-3). Duhaupas takes just 35 seconds to kayo Mexican Reducindo who as an amateur was probably the most successful big man the Mexicans have produced, but has flopped as a pro.

Ontario, USA: Light Welter: Jose Armando Santa Cruz (28-4) W TKO 3 Tony Mora (15-5). Up at light welter Santa Cruz floors Mora and corner throw in the towel. Santa Cruz has had two shots at WBC interim title at lightweight.

Puerto Madryn, Argentina: Middle: Oscar Veliz (28-15-2, 1ND) W PTS 10 Fernando Pereyra (15-3). Veliz just too busy and aggressive for southpaw Pereyra and wins on scores of 117-117, 117-116.5 (Yes they score half points in Argentina!) and 117-115 to retain South American title.
